The Solution Coalition

In every industry, every business, and in fact, every corner of life, there are usually two groups of people. One group spends all of their time and energy focused on problems and challenges, looking for ways to be outraged. The other group spends all of their time acknowledging the problems and challenges, and working together to create solutions that convert those problems and challenges into opportunities for growth and success.

The CarShare community is no different. You'll find both groups of people. One is angry and loud. The other is busy working together to solve the things that make the other group angry and loud.

What is the Solution Coalition?

We're a group of men and women who operate in the CarShare space either as hosts, or providers of goods and services to serve and improve the host community. We're focused on answers and solutions. And we're coming together as a team to find those answers and solutions and implement them in troubled markets around the country.

What Will We Do?

Members of the Solutions Coalition will focus on one market at a time, identifying the most difficult challenges in that specific market and meeting weekly via Zoom and daily via Slack for a period of 12 weeks to develop actionable and measurable solutions to those challenges in ways that will benefit the greater good of the host community in that market.

The coalition formed in each market will compile a list of specific challenges that need to be addressed. They will work together to create solutions and strategy to address the challenges. And all of the work done will be archived on this page below, and when necessary, shared with Turo corporate when the solutions require their engagement.

No one person has all of the solutions.

But when you bring a group of intelligent people together, who have integrity and care about the greater good beyond self-interest, amazing things can happen.
